Hidden Creatures: metamorphosis
My ongoing art photography project, "Hidden creatures: imaginative portrait of our surroundings," aims to capture the beauty and mystery of nature that often goes unnoticed. Through my modified vintage lens, I create distorted yet magical images that reveal our surroundings' hidden creatures and marvels.
Throughout the pandemic, I found solace in local parks and gardens, which became my sanctuary during the isolation and monotony of quarantine. My childhood fascination with large plants and trees reminded me of silent giants forced to stay in one place and now inspires me to delve deeper into the natural world around me.
I discovered a new world of hidden creatures in the environment using my modified lens. From the eyes of trees to the strange creatures hiding in the branches, I capture ethereal and dreamlike images that challenge viewers to see their surroundings in a new light. Even in urban areas, a rich and diverse natural world is still waiting to be discovered. My imaginative portraits of nature take viewers on a fascinating journey to uncover hidden marvels.
My project aims to encourage viewers to see beyond the surface of their environment and explore the wonder that exists. By revealing the magic in our surroundings, I hope to inspire viewers to see the value of preserving and protecting our environment.
